Planning for NECC
Schedule at a Glance

http://center.uoregon.edu/ISTE/NECC2008/glance/

Carefully look at the schedule.
• There are multiple schedules: Concurrent, workshops, special events, spotlights are often “best of NECC”
• Bring your own laptop sessions are first come, first serve. Be prepared for bandwidth issues!
• Poster sessions often give you very practical nuggets from the front line to bring home.

Make sure you attend keynotes and concurrent sessions.
• Really read carefully through. Map them so you know distance between sessions.

Use the conference planner.
• Add own events.
• Group planner – allows you to see what your colleagues are doing, so you can spread yourself around!
• You can share your planner with others via their email address.

Events to watch for:
• DEN receptions
• PAECT receptions
• Gather the slips you get in the mail/email.

Program Search
• Search by Presenter, Times, Type of session
• Look at themes and strands
